Well it turned out nice and well organized, much like mine in my tiny 20x20 garage with two Porsches and four motorcycles. Its a tight fit.

Your garage reminds me of Jack Olsen's garage.

I also did the Polyaspartic flooring last year. Looking forward to your finished garage. Enjoy

I am highly considering poly flooring as well, thanks for the recommendations.

JuDub & P_Coastal:

Much like PPF, the installer is everything with these floors. Prep is crucial.

Done correctly and with top-of-the-line products (not cheap big-box stuff), it will look great and be super strong. Durable and long-lasting too.

Can even request an additional coat of the Polyaspartic clear top coat for more durability if desired. Extra cost, but worth consideration - it's what I did. The installer buffed and cleaned w/light pad between coats of the 18000 PSI clear Polyaspartic product. (Our product in 2018 was Spartacoat/Laticrete from Diamond Tec products out of Pompani Beach, FL.) Our garage area was approximately 1,150 sq ft.

Also, per my installer, for difficult spills or marks that require something stronger than regular household-type light cleaners, use Xylene only. (No Acetone, etc.) Ask your installer to be sure he agrees and/or see what he suggests.

Did you guys use the flakes with the poly? I personally don't prefer the look of the flakes but the installer said if I do use them, I can choose one color. They put so many flakes that they will become a solid color, then they put another coat of poly over that. This builds up more layers and makes it more chip resistant from jacks, jackstands, engine stand wheels etc.

We used flakes. This where the missus got involved and the colors became a big production. Then somehow some of the gray flakes had to match the gray paint used on the lower half of the walls....

Color selection is challenging for sure :)

As I understand it, the chip flakes are an important part of the process adding necessary structure and strength - they are the binder.

Excellent,
Thanks for the feedback. Will post pictures of the floor once I get there. So far the garage is moving along, they stared electrical. The flat roof should be foamed and sealed early next week. Yesterday they dug the hole for a pool. The backyard is a dusty mess right now.
