Car looks great. Did you do full PPF or just partial?

Hawk wrote: Mon Jun 20, 2022 4:24 am Unfortunately no. The last info Porsche has is that my car was put back into PDI (second time) on Monday 06/13 for the Gateway Control Unit reprogramming. Now it gets interesting - The entire Porsche activity tracking system went down sometime after it updated last Wednesday 06/15 and no one, not even dealers or Porsche worldwide, has received an update since then. The system had still not been updated last I spoke to PCNA and my SA this past Saturday. Neither my dealer through their Porsche Sales & Vehicle Management System or Porsche know where my car is currently. My dealer has also not been invoiced for the car but, this could just be because the system has not been updated. No one really knows. PCNA has initiated a Case to attempt to get the status of the car directly from JAX. They hoped to get back to me by today, Monday, or tomorrow. My dealer is awaiting an email from the transportation company.

The system still appears to be down this morning as my TYD, also fed from the same activity system, has not updated. It's very hard to believe that Porsche has not been able to restore their activity tracking system after 5 days (as of today). Have to wonder if something more nefarious is going on.

I'll let you know.
Very strange and maddening.

I ordered my 2023 cab on 6/15 and the same day I was given access to TYD with the configuration I specified.

I made a one item change to the configuration on 6/17 and I was able to access my updated order online on 6/18.

Hope u can access your info now 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Thanks for sharing. As I understand from both PCNA and my SA there is no issue with the Order System. I know that my dealer is processing new MY23 allocations received last week without issue. The issue is with their tracking and production status subsystem. I can access my TYD and my dealer can access their Porsche Sales&Vehicle Management systems, it's just that they have not been updated with the new subsystem data. I have no idea how many subsystems they maintain. I can only go by what they have told me.

Yes

I think internally their systems are proprietary on a need to know basis and the dealer often gets no special access or knowledge.

Hope things move along for your sake 🤞🤞

Finally received the call I've been waiting for. Our GT3 was "Released for Delivery" and being loaded on a transport from JAX today. Exactly 3 weeks ago today from when it arrived in Port. My SA has scheduled delivery to us on Saturday at 11:00am. Then all set to drop it off early Monday morning for full ppf, ceramic coating, and window tint. And, of course, we are then traveling to Noth Carolina to visit family. Hopefully, I'll get to enjoy driving this car one day soon. Really looking forward to it. :D

Can't wait to this saga to end and the enjoyment to begin!

If you are driving it from the dealer and/or to the PPF place, consider getting some Track Armour from Amazon. If you order today, you'll have it in time, and it's very easy to put on. I'm paranoid and have a 30 mile drive, so did almost the entire front, and rear arches, etc., but just doing the front bumper cap will likely prevent 95% of potential pre-ppf chips.

Or, if you can't get that in time, there's always painters tape. Ask me how I know....
