Can't wait to this saga to end and the enjoyment to begin!

If you are driving it from the dealer and/or to the PPF place, consider getting some Track Armour from Amazon. If you order today, you'll have it in time, and it's very easy to put on. I'm paranoid and have a 30 mile drive, so did almost the entire front, and rear arches, etc., but just doing the front bumper cap will likely prevent 95% of potential pre-ppf chips.

Or, if you can't get that in time, there's always painters tape. Ask me how I know....

Thanks Tom. We're all set for the drive home and to my ppf installer at 7:30am on Monday. It's all local roads and It's off-season in Naples so not many cars on the road.

Thanks. I'll be sure to remove any tape before taking pics. ;)

The universe is trying to tell us something -- i.e., that Hawk was destined to be a very special Carpokean. Saturday is June 25, 2022. Check the date I 'joined' Carpokes under my avatar -- June 25, 2021. That was the date I set up the Carpokes forum software -- and Hawk is getting his car exactly one year to the day after that.

Coincidence or destiny?

Exactly 3 weeks ago today from when it arrived in Port. My SA has scheduled delivery to us on Saturday at 11:00am. Then all set to drop it off early Monday morning for full ppf, ceramic coating, and window tint. And, of course, we are then traveling to Noth Carolina to visit family. Hopefully, I'll get to enjoy driving this car one day soon. Really looking forward to it. :D
@Hawk Congratulations man, I'm so happy for you. Finally!!!!

You can never be too careful bud, I picked up the car on Friday, Saturday morning we had a first communion for a good friends son, went to church all dandy after the ceremony they reserved a restaurant for lunch, on the way there at less than 200km on the car (BAM) a piece of stone hit the car on the freeway, I initially thought it hit the windshield but didn’t notice anything and not till Sunday afternoon I’m in the garage to take her out for a spin when I saw r reflection on the roof right above the windshield just before the sunroof, I’m soooooooo upset but what can you do, life goes on 🥹

So sorry to hear. I'm sure your pain will subside when you get over the initial shock. As you said there are more important things in life. Can't tell from pic. Did it just tear the ppf or Is it also a scratch in the paint and/or a small dent?

there are 2 small dents it's hard to tell from the picture as there is a reflection, I will know more about the damage when the ppf comes out

Hopefully, if there is no paint damage you can simply use a good Paintless Dent Removal pro to get out the two small dents. Then a light polish and new ppf; you will never know it happened. Good luck.
