I have not had problems waiting to put on my clear. I've had problems if the base or clear are put on too thick, or if I do the clear too soon, but of course I've never waited more than 2 or 3 days to clear one, so can't say for sure. I'd also mention that not all clears work with this base coat. I tried to cheap out and use a hardware store clear paint once, and it crinkled up on me. Is your paint hardware store spray paint?

I just have normal store paint.

Just do it like you think. Either way it will look good

Ran across this idea while searching for new car arrival goodies. New C2S on the way in Dolo Silver with blue/chalk interior. Bezels in chalk move to top of list - a must have!

Hi all, I haven't been able to focus on these lately but will be getting back to them and updating the status list later in the week. As always, I'll prioritize those most active and 'present' on carpokes

I still might make a little tiddlywink that sticks on, since it would give me more color options, but I have to say a little vinyl wrap and a 3/8" hole punch do a pretty good job.... This is matte red. I have gloss red on order, which may or may not look better. Stay tuned.
