The red/black leather case is kinda like a pen holder, but I made this specific one to fit a little spray pen filled with screen cleaner I’m going to Velcro to the inner side of the center console.

The other thing is my solution to the passenger seatbelt buckle hitting the side. You stick the seatbelt into this thing and it keeps it in place. I added a Porsche key fob emblem on it :)

Yes!

You are going to love them, of that I have no doubt whatsoever. You'll realize that even before they are installed once you lay them next to the removed OEM pedals. It's like night and day. However, that's my exuberance talking, so I'll be waiting impatiently for your impression and evaluation.

Did you get the unfinished aluminum versions?

Installation was easy but here is the correct Numeric video that includes a (sort of) missing step that was not in an older vid I had watched earlier.

Yes, I got the unfinished aluminum. Read they they had more traction plus was afraid that black would just blend away with the carpet and not add any visual interest. Looking forward to sharing my initial impressions.

What was the missing step that I should be aware of?

I forgot...but the video I attached doesn't leave it out whatever it is. :lol:

Kidding. It's a step in the accelerator pedal removal from the sensor assembly once you've detached the assembly from its mounting. The pedal slides off sideways from the sensor assy after pressing a tab, but there's also a critical actuator piece that needs to be out of the way when removing the pedal which wasn't explained in the other video I watched before changing out the pedals.

I couldn't slide the pedal off because the actuator was not letting the pedal move sideways. Nothing about that actuator was mentioned in the incomplete video version. I had decided to leave the sensor electronics attached and to do the job while headfirst in the floor, so I couldn't see exactly how it was configured. However, I managed after a bit of squirming around the dark foot well and then all was good. Later I found the 2nd video...

The specifics I'm talking about start around the 3:30 ish and onward mark. Piece of cake!

Good move on the unfinished aluminum. I also think they have more grip plus there won't be any paint to wear off so they'll look good forever.

Purchased a white Chrono dial in November but just never got around to changing out my black dial. Wasn’t sure if I really wanted to but went ahead and gave it a go.

The orange backed dial is OE and the sliver finish is from AliExpress. Front finish other tha being white as well as weight feels the same as OE.

ImageHardest part of this was connecting the 2 cables back but part of that was I should have been in the passenger seat as the steering wheel made it harder to get to but again, minor stuff. I did some video’s but really not needed for this. Lift up the cover w/ a trim tool, have some needle nose pliers to make it easier to remove from connectors. Once done, find a well lit surface and recommend a light colored towel or paper and remove the two bracket screws. Chrono is then removed and unscrew the cap on front being careful to do so as the hands will fall off pretty easily and could be lost if not careful.

Once hands are removed, just take Chrono face off and install new one. Replace the three hands, holding face up so hands don’t accidentally come off and screw the cover back on. Put it back in the cover, tighten two screws, and go back and re-install unit in your car W/ the two plug-ins. Turn ignition to ensure everything is working and secure back in place.

This is a max 30 minute deal for your first effort and probably 10 minutes if you did it again.

I won’t upload vids but here are a few pics Showing the differences in OE and replacement dial from the rear as well as once installed. Total cost approx $60 plus your time.

I had to go back and correct the small hour hand as it wasn’t moving properly. Didn’t notice when I took the pics that it was an issue but whenI looked at them blown up, had to go back in. Once you do it once, its pretty simple.

Really good to know. I also buy little things from AliExpress/Ebay/Etsy for my cars... So far been pretty impressed with the quality. Couple duds.

The white dial is a really nice touch.
