Hey Steve, I suspect you mistakenly thought this was your PCCM thread (link below). This is the new member check-in thread, where pictures of these fine-looking cars are highly encouraged!sullivs wrote: Sat Dec 31, 2022 3:14 pm Gee…. All nice cars. But can we revert back to the original question? I sure would like to hear from those that actually have the PCCM Plus system.
Thank you!
Steve

Bill Oldham from Maui, just joined ; lurker in training. I have 356 Roadster and 968 located in SF Bay area. Also there a 2003 Moto guzzi California EV and a 1955 MGTF, latter two to be sold soon, I hope. I restored a number of cars and built a bunch of engines (have a 1960 356 Normal for sale) but trying to emphasize cycling and golf these days. I am always looking for maintenance tips and names of experts to do the things I cannot (like take care of 968).

Figured I'd do an update since I've moved and changed jobs recently:
Name: Darwin Binek
Location: Lompoc, CA
Current fun cars: 1988 944 Turbo S
Occupation: Prior Service Marine, Former UAV operator for DoD. Currently a rocket surgeon working for Space-X on the Falcon 9.
First Porsche: 1988 944 Turbo S
Was hooked on Porsche's when: My Great Uncle had a 1969 911S, and my dad bought a 1984 911 Carrera. My Dad always told me the 944 Turbo was the best "bang for your buck" so I bought one as soon as I could afford a good example!

New Forum member not new to Porsche. Had a 69 911t in my early 20’s. Got married and kids and had started to renew the car. Time and money got in the way so we sold it. Way too low a price also.
Wife knew I was broken hearted. Said if the chance comes up you can get another one. Fast forward to now.
Her father owned an 84 Carrera Targa 3.2 since 85. So we were both into them. He kept it garaged and never driven in the winter and hardly in rain. I do wish he did a little more maintenance and kept the engine cleaner but anyway, so he passed a few years ago and my wife is still settling the estate. We had a few people look at it but she wasn’t getting the price she wanted so she decided we could keep as part of inheritance. So now just waiting to register and insure it ! Already doing the checking of everything. It’s been in my Barn for about a year. But I really wasn’t going to play with it if it wasn’t going to be mine. But here we are !!
