And this may be my favorite part....
Love those doors Tom.
Thanks! They were an engineering feat to be honest. We did the garage and doors as part of a whole-house remodel and those doors were literally the last thing to be finished (and a solid 3 months after the house was done). If you see other carriage doors like that, they are almost always about about half as wide, because none of the available doors/hardware have the strength to swing on a hinge like this. These doors are custom made with steel inside, and swing inside a steel opening -- all covered in wood to look 'normal.'

I'm looking for a garage pail that 'works' with the look of my garage. I painted my old can and it's "fine" but would love to find something that better adds to the feel of the garage. There is one built in to the cabinets, but I always find myself wanting one I can move around as needed... Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi Tom, my suggestion would be a nice wine/ Whiskey barrel that way it will blend in nicely with your ceiling and wall planks, you can also add some wheels on the bottom to make it more mobile, easier to move around

Hmmm.... I love that idea in terms of how they look. I just wonder how heavy/difficult it would be to empty? I may start looking around to see what's out there. Great idea -- keep 'em coming!

I don't know - the one you painted looks great to me. It also matches the style of your metal wainscotting almost perfectly! It's certainly better looking than my big left over pool chemical pails or plastic store-bought kitchen wastebaskets. (They do get the job done, however. )

My understanding wife bought me a couple of PORSCHE flags for Xmas.
I’ve run out of wall space in the garage so I had to hang them from the ceiling

Here is my garage. Actually it's more a workshop. Also, normally it is not as clean as shown in the picture.
