Think Iām at the end of the road as far as interior mods go. Recently received the Placek inserts I designed and removed the helmet pad to expose more CF. Last weekend I installed TrackSpec LWBS angle brackets.

Retro, clean, stunning , design coup, etc. what a killer and tasteful transformation that hits so many special points for so many. The few yellow touches elsewhere ( chronometer , shift knob ,etc. ) bring out the color and highlight the subtle yellow touches and it all shows alot of thought was taken in upgrading this Spyder. Kudos and congrats on a machines guaranteed to get looks at any automotive function!

Thanks
@WillyDaP . It's been a fun process. They say it's more about the journey than the destination. Looks like I'm in need of another project. And yes, I was very intentional to keep things subtle yet cohesive. I tried to bring elements of yellow PCCBs and my exterior yellow Porsche stripe to the interior. I'm amazed that Porsche does not offer more seat insert options for the LWBS. So easy to change and the standard alcantara inserts make for such a dark and drab cockpit.

I have that drab interior ( no offense, ha ) as I had viewed Crazy Eddie's interiors prior to my order and not really liking the Porsche options I decided to just go with the standard seating surface in my Cayman. Plus I wanted the GT4 ( LWBS ) seats and having viewed Crazy Eddie's stuff I knew I would be doing something in the future. I track my cars, so like your classy interior changes I wanted the seats to work with exterior decals/numbers, etc. which I am still struggling to decide -- heh, no rush.
Feel free to post more pics of your Spyder as the months and years progress.

Oh, Sorry. Didn't mean to offend. It's just surprising that given how many interior options Porsche offers, LWBS insert options is not one of them. Largest piece of visible real estate and the only option is black alcantara.
I have Crazy Eddies bolster covers and seat belt ring. I am sure you have also looked at P1 Design. It can be agonizing trying to find the "perfect" match for the interior. Justin Placek has a huge selection of fabrics and is willing to do any custom woven leather insert. His quality is the best of all available options but it comes with a commensurate price tag and lead time. Exclusive Option in the SF Bay Area is also an option, but I've not seen much of their work.
Since you track, have you already adjusted the seat angle with one of the bracket options? I've only have about 15 minutes of seat time since installing, but I can already tell it's a big improvement. I would have to imagine even more so if wearing a helmet.

I'll refrain from posting pix of a BMW on a Porsche forum, lest the purists take issue
But for any enthusiast of older BMWs hop on over to the e9coupe.com forum:

Please feel free to use the sub-forum here at Carpokes, 'The O.K. Corral' and post away!! Can start a photo or discussion topic for non-Porsche vehicles (and Porsche too if you wish) there. It's encouraged!
