Yes, Stiggs cousin…PCCBs. Once you get past the $$, they are incredibly responsive (in comparison to the 997.2 steel rotors/ ceramic brake pads). Plus — no more annoying brake dust — that seemed to turn to an orange glow on the black rims — lol!

Tom, thank you. Yes I had a rough 1966 Mustang in HS (torn pony interior, bad paint, dings, and a transmission that was on its last legs, retreads). It got me from point A to point B — but I was living on the edge with that one!

Yes, they are really worth the price of admission.The bite is amazing with the PCCB's.Once you have them it would be hard to go back.No brake dust and the un sprung weight savings.Welcome aboard!

Welcome to Carpokes! I bet you're looking forward to the incoming 992, but your other two rides also appear to be quite fine, so post pics. Am I correct in assuming that your LT1 is a C8? Pics of that would be nice too!

Thanks. The LT1 convertible 6-speed manual Camaro has Recaro seats 💺, BOSE, NPP exhaust and soon my HRE wheels going on. The 997 Turbo is GT Silver, Brumos car. Super clean and super fast.

@James6speed

Good pics of super nice cars! Thanks for posting - I think most here love vehicle-related pictures of all kinds - cars, rebuild and/or maint projects, how-to's, garages, tracks, gatherings, experiences, travels, and on and on.

Back to your upcoming Carrera, you'll love it, no doubt. Adding the 992 will be a fine addition to your collection. Nice!

Funny that I assumed your "LT1" was a C8. I was thinking that you were referring to a Vette's trim pkg rather than the Camaro LT1. Faulty brain cells. Sorry about that!

No worries. I'm not a Corvette person myself. As far as the 992 goes, I hope that I don't regret selling my 997 Turbo for a car that is essentially a base model. I understand that the 992 is far superior in many ways and from what I have read from the reviews, the new T is kind of a throwback to the more connected, visceral days of the 911. I really don't want to replace my 997 with another "GT" style comfort car. While it is fun, that's what I'm after is a fast canyon carver.

How many miles are on the 997 turbo? The car looks in showroom condition. Also, are the side mirrors yellow or is that an artifact from the photo. If they are yellow, they look very cool. I don’t own a 911 but I’d be happy with the 997 or the new 992.🤙🏻

Hi everyone, new member from southern CA. First post and first Porsche as well. I have a '23 GTS 4.0 Cayman currently sitting at Emden port waiting for a ride over. Excited and hopefully not too long of a wait for my new daily.
