And more from today's Belgian Grand Prix ...

"Max Verstappen's F1 winless streak continues in Belgium. He extends points lead anyway. Updated F1 Drivers' Standings: A 10-place grid penalty for an engine change made it a long day for the defending Formula 1 champion."

It is such a magnificent track, and one I have enjoyed on track days. Far, far quicker than the Nürburgring and accidents, and accidents though fewer are often a lot more serious. What video does not properly show is that the hill up from Eau Rouge to Radillon is much steeper in reality. I have walked it . When I first went there the instructor observed that you will always feel planted on the hill because of the steepness and if you are offline you only find out at the top when the car suddenly unloads.

The 911s were fun there but the Panamera had to stop periodically to let the brakes cool:)......not an ideal Spa car!...

The speeds that the F1 cars do there are unbelevable.

I have to wonder whether Newey’s departure from Red Bull is having an impact on the team. He was very good at mid season upgrades.

When he departed, Newey removed the hidden muffler bearing that no one else knew about...

Say what you will about Max but he is Motörhead through and through. "It’s very hard to pinpoint where that is coming from at the moment." I can appreciate how he looks at a problem and according to interviews, attempts to get in the weeds with the engineers to solve the problem.

Red Bull has made a change/s that the chassis doesn't like . Tire deg has gone up . They will figure it out . But they also have to find more pace , that is a bigger challenge.
