Thanks for the warm welcome @blueline & @Tom! Once deciding on a Porsche last year the journey got interesting. I went from 944, 968, Boxter, Cayman, 996, 997, Turbo or NA, but none of them a 40 Jahre. I too had seen the name here and there but never looked into it until one showed up on eBay. Not the one I bought but it got me started. I found mine on the 40 Jahre 911 registry and have since been in contact with the moderator.
The car is a 75k, essentially one owner, well kept example. The guy I bought it from had it for a year and didn't drive it much.

A few more snaps ... interior is Iceland Green/Black. Lightens up the interior and pairs well with the aventurine exterior.blueline wrote: Sat Feb 11, 2023 5:45 amHi Jake. Welcome to Carpokes! Enjoy those miles you're putting on your triple sharp Carerra! The interior also looks great from what I can see - post some pics if desired. As I'm always saying, Carpokes is a very picture-friendly form!Mfibiandriver wrote: Fri Feb 10, 2023 10:16 pm My name is Jake and I am currently putting miles on a 2020 992 C2S. Welcome, I love the Iceland green interior, and would have seriously considered it were it available in the 718, but alas, its only reserved for the hoi poloi 911 crowd.
Very cool looking car.

Welcome aboard Mfibiandriver!! Gorgeous car. Absolutely love the interior but as a member of the low-pollio 911 crowd, I'm sure I'd get them all dirty in no time. True story, when my wife and I changed the carpet in our former house, we intentionally picked a color that best matched the color of spilt coffee, paw prints, and general wear. We figured if you can't beat 'em..... For the same reason, I'm afraid to get a car with anything but a black or brown interior, despite my jealousy when seeing an interior like this.Bill in Bama wrote: Thu Mar 09, 2023 6:27 am Welcome, I love the Iceland green interior, and would have seriously considered it were it available in the 718, but alas, its only reserved for the hoi poloi 911 crowd.Very cool looking car.
