Good luck with the tire switchover.
I attempted this on our GTI a couple of days ago and had to abort the mission as my local dealer thought the wheel nut torque should be one million ft/lbs and I couldn’t budge them.
It’s in for brakes today and I told them the appropriate torque is 90 ft lbs and I will attempt again tomorrow.

Switchover went well, I torqued the winters so no issue. Today the Cayman is in for 1 year service and PPF fixes.

Makes you wonder about those entrusted to work on your vehicles...

Maybe a better tech works on your car today.

Today I added GT4 side scoops my GTS. I took the side panels loose and used three screws to the back like a GT4 to make sure the scoops don’t fly off on the track. These are genuine Porsche parts that had the GT4 embossed logo filled and then painted gloss black. I thought the gloss black would work well on my car to match the gloss black handles and window trims.

I show 118 ft lbs for our cars. I switch wheels regularly for auto-x and that's what I use for torquing the nuts.

Yes, 118 ft lbs is correct for our 718s. I think Bruinfn4lf was referring to his VW GTi in the general conversation of wheel/tire switchovers from winters to summers.
