What did you swap out the tweeters with? You had burm already? What were the results?

I have the factory Bose system. Swapped out the tweeters from that with the factory Burmester tweeters. The burm tweeters are considerably more clear IMO.

30min DIY job with trim tools.

all those years of wanting a cool car with red calipers...I finally have the cool car, but I don't want the red calipers on it, so...

I bought tires for my new wheels this week and had them mounted yesterday. All will be off to get ceramic coated tomorrow and hopefully I can get the car back on the ground in a couple weeks.

There was a pen in my goodie bag they gave me when I bought the car. I will be digging through said bag tonight.

*fingers crossed but not holding my breath that it's the correct pen*

Those wheels look awesome! The pic of your car with the wheel in front definitely says black calipers. Classy look, for sure.

Got the black rear trunk trim from GT4RS and installed it today. I love the monochromatic look and this finishes the trunk until I can find something else to do, LOL![/img]

Looks great! So apparently Lloyds is ok spelling out "Porsche" on their mats, just not using the actual logo?

I just bought a Lloyd’s rear mat. They won’t spell out anything that is even remotely Porsche related. I couldn’t get GTS even though I told them my name was George Thomas Simmons.

That makes no sense. Why are they doing that? Especially with GTS which is not limited to Porsche, not even in the automotive world. Tell 'em you work for GTS Interior Supply or GTS Distribution or GTS Technology or SAP's GTS (Global Trade Services) or Global Technical Services (aka GTS) or probably half dozen other big firms worldwide using GTS in one form or another.

I may call them one day soon and try to order mats just to test and/or irritate them a bit.

A couple data points to consider:
- Lloyd Mats sells through Suncoast (Porsche Parts)
- They know you are ordering for a Porsche (fitment)

I get that and understand not using Porsche's actual logo. I even understand (to a degree) not using "Porsche", but refusing GTS makes no sense. GTS is not limited to Porsche. Ferarri has and continues to use "GTS" as well as Kia, BMW, Mercedes, Alpha Romeo even Dodge at some point and others.

I guess what you're suggesting is that maybe Lloyds has been asked not to use any of those terms and as a partner is complying. I kind of understand if that's the case but then how did 718-4Me get his with "Porsche" embroidered in red on all of his mats? And why on earth wouldn't Porsceh/Suncoast/Lloyds want to promote the Porsche brand if done correctly and within stipulated parameters? No matter the excuse they might give, it is a bit odd.
