Visa Cash App RB

That's the team's name!

There is NO way Martin Brundle will be calling it that on the live cometary.

^^^ I read an article that said inside the team they are calling themselves VCARB . And they are hoping that acronym catches on with the press and fans .

Something needs to give - just about anything would be better - VCARB would be an improvement. My question is does VISA squawk if broadcasters, crew, publications, etc. use that? If they do, even something like Visa Red Bull would be better than the cumbersome and horrid "Visa Cash App RB" name.

I cannot imagine where this might end up if some new blockbuster drug with their inscrutable, overly long, nonsensical names buys a primary F1 sponsorship.

Well, for all those folks who don't think Liberty Media is doing things right, if this is wrong .............I don't want to be right, ha! I know there are some things old school purists are not completely happy with, but as someone who has loved F1 since the 60s I am quite happy with all the new fans. Cool, for me, to attend an autocross on a Sunday and have a bunch of young drivers talking about F1. I announce most of the SCCA Solo Events in Lincoln, Ne. and on more than one occasion I had someone tell me not to announce any F1 results to the crowd . That never happened in years past.

Thanks for posting the info, super interesting in my opinion.

Those are some impressive gains!

This line from the piece: All of this growth has seen Liberty listed by Forbes as the “most valuable sports empire” in 2024 ...
