Has anyone swapped the silver colored control inserts in their multi-function steering wheel? Suncoast used to offer the control inserts in black, but no longer does.
Or, would it be less hassle to just swap the whole steering wheel? I wouldn’t mind getting red stitching to match the rest of my interior, either.

I have been contemplating this, and have also thought about just changing my wheel... Still research pro/con's. There are places in Taiwan that take the porsche steering wheel core, and change out a bunch of stuff.
I just can't figure out how safe this is (airbag)...etc

Taiwan? I’d really prefer staying domestic with something this critical.

Oh I know, just saying a lot of aftermarket wheels actually come from there, and are sold in the US as "domestic".
I just don't think I can trust a company (that's not Porsche) to wire & stick a high explosive 10 inches away from my face.

Looks great - one would need the smoker's package. The engraved 718 is sweet!
