Good Morning All,
Joined a couple days ago seen the site in my Panorama magazine. I had a Vintage Speedster for years and bought my first

I must say it’s nice to have a place to go if one has a question or needs some info especially for a newbie like me.

I’m in Ohio and Today is Looking like a Great Day for a Drive!!!!!

Just joined the forum. Been driving, enjoying and caring for a splendid 964 C4 cab over the last 14 years and now upgraded
Sweet! It's great to hear from Porsche friends from your side of the Atlantic.

Le Mans - yearly trips to the 24 no less!! How very special that you go every year. This year marks a new era with the reconfigured classes. (I liked that WEC ran their 1,000 mile event at Sebring recently - good exposure.) I also read that organizers were expecting as many as 300,000 spectators to this years 24h at Le Mans - that will be quite impressive and a record if it happens.

We have a Racing sub-forum so please join in if you care to. viewforum.php?f=34#start_here

Welcome to Carpokes and thank you for joining!
Yes,the 24h of LeMans are always spectacular. This year is the centenial of the 24h race and it's going to be a splendid long motorsports party weekend.

No, I sold it to one of my Panalpina Alpine Race Club friends. I would have gotten in quite some troubles with my boss arguing the need for two cabs...

I drove the Gothard Tunnel in 2014 when I did a European delivery of an AMG.

Oh yes, around the Gotthard region there are a lot of nice curvy alpine roads to hone the car control expertise and perfect the rythm.
We go on a yearly " Panalpina" in the Swiss and surounding countries mountain regions with some Alpine race club friends

Hello Everyone, Obviously new to this site and a relatively new member of the Porsche community. Bought my '09 Cayman S about 1.5 years ago. I formerly participated in a low level racing series and wanted a car to do HPDE in (4-5 a year). I've already done several track mods (K-Sport coilovers, Tarett sway bars, Top Gear exhaust, IPD plenum with 82 TB, roll bar, Corbeau seats, OZ wheels). The car has been fantastic, it's nice to have a modern sports car. I've been hung up on classic British cars since my college years and still have a '73 Triumph TR-6 (built) and a restomod 1960 Austin Healey 3000 (302 Ford, 5 speed, LSD, body mods, custom interior). Looking forward to hitting a couple of new tracks this year in the Cayman.
