For sure!Pachanga718 wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 1:11 pm@71eh Thank you! I was just getting to this point in looking this up and you saved me some time in looking for the screen protector. I have these on all my cars and getting to put one on the Cayman as I have been distracted too much driving it since I got it last month! Thanks again!71eh wrote: Fri May 24, 2024 8:32 am
So it was made specifically for this screen. It was actually from Amazon. Surprised how good quality it is. $13bucks!

What did you do with your 718 this week?

Took my Cayman to a local track Wednesday for my second ever lapping event. Is still too much fun and I bought a helmet on the way to the track as I plan on going back at least once a month this summer.
Yesterday I washed it as I had been caught in the rain a couple of times and also there was an excess of brake dust from the track event.

Dang. Sorry. Try this.Arne2 wrote: Sat May 25, 2024 8:41 pmYou did the link OK. It would work if you made the video public. Right now it is private, by invitation only.sleon67 wrote: Sat May 25, 2024 8:06 pm https://youtu.be/0jL1kgGecLI
If this works, it's the first time I'm posting a video online, ever. Hope it works.
Grasshopper took us offroad parking at the Wimberly Market, then to the boyhood home of Lyndon Johnson.

So far, 8 days since we got the keys, 639 total break-in miles, averaging 29.8 mpg today but 24.8 mpg over 23.16 hours behind the wheel (traffic sucks <g>).

The Base 2.0L cars are amazingly economical on the road. My Fuelly app shows total average on my 2018 at 29.1 mpg over 8967 miles (just over 2 years of driving). Best tank so far was 36.4 mpg (418 miles) coming home from Werks Monterey.sleon67 wrote: Sat Jun 01, 2024 7:20 pm So far, 8 days since we got the keys, 639 total break-in miles, averaging 29.8 mpg today but 24.8 mpg over 23.16 hours behind the wheel (traffic sucks <g>).

Added logo decal to PCM card door - thanks, @Larry C! I thought about just painting the existing engraved letters that are visible in the photo, but the decal was easier, albeit substantially larger.
I also installed Brembo ceramic brake pads to reduce dust. [no pics]
