I just received my drive mode bezel and I love the packaging! Thank you for a fun "unboxing" experience. I love the bezel, now I just have to sit and look at them, as the Taycan doesn't arrive until June 2023. *sigh*. Thank you so much Tom!!!!!

I am much older than you. I raced an English car (Austin Healy Sprite) and then a 1965 Trans-Am Mustang replica. I started racing in 1990.

There was only one car that could last all weekend as fast as it started. It was a Porsche 911. I then bought and built many air-cooled cars. My 1973 Porsche 911 RS replica was the best great car.

As an old guy, I get to look back 32 years ago. I was really lucky to do what I did on a small budget. I later really liked the water-cooled Porsche 911.

I would like whatever you would feel like sending to me whenever you feel like getting around to it!
I will just sit by the mailbox and enjoy a bourbon while I wait!
I did a batch of Shark Blue mode dial covers today, and thoughts I'd do a few Sports Chrono bezels since I had the paint out... I was quickly reminded why a have been so slow to get back to those. I painted 3, and everyone of them has some paint flaw that makes them un-Carpokes worthy. It's a deceptively difficult little bugger to paint perfectly, and the tach ring is so bad I've essentially given up on those. I may try again tomorrow...

Hey Tom, I changed my order to Shark Blue GT3 (final decision) with Ceramics (Yellow brakes).

Not sure if you are still painting those but I would take either (or both) Shark Blue and Racing Yellow if you are still making those.

The weather has picked up lately and I've been doing more painting, so consider this a shameless plug for the mode dial covers --mostly for the benefit of the new members. It's a rare opportunity to get one without waiting. See the Carpokes 'store' for ordering details here: app.php/carpokes-store

I honestly don't remember what you may have requested and when. I see your last post on Carpokes was over 8 months ago, back when these were special gifts for active Carpokeans, so I'm guessing you just lacked the post count to get one back then. (Just a guess honestly.) The good news is I've since made these available to all Carpokeans for $49, regardless of post count, etc., so if you'd like to order one, please see the Carpokes 'store' linked below for ordering details. Thanks!

I can't find those emails, but suspect there was a miscommunication. In the early days I kept a list of people who had requested bezels, but generally did not send them unless/until the requester achieved an active status on Carpokes (as outlined in the old policy). I did away with all of that and just started charging for the bezels to avoid exactly that type of misunderstanding and/or frustration. Please forward the old emails if you think I'm missing something. Thanks. No one is perfect, but I try very hard to be true to my word.
