Thanks. Tomorrow going to attend a Zuffenhausen factory tour. I'm curious to see if any 718s are still getting produced (as opposed to in Osnabruck)

Great. Please report back. Curious minds (and 718 owners) would like to know. This is getting exciting!

Well, folks, here it is... THE DAY. We have received our twin GTS 4.0s.

Here's the instagram post. Words cannot adequately describe the experience, so we will let the video do the talking.

Hey all,

Thanks for all the well-wishes - what a great forum :)

Well, after the exciting delivery day, things are going a bit slower for a day or two. It is time for us to head south through Germany.

After our great visit with @PeC (laughing, yapping and eating!) one of the first things we did (in light rain) was to install a set of RGS grilles in the front of each of our cars. They look properly factory to our eyes and we feel some comfort in knowing there’s a layer of protection there now.

We ended up in Austria after sundown, well-positioned for our first truly good mountain twisty. The RPMs are slowly climbing, and we can already tell that these cars were MADE for this.

More to come!!

Cheers,
Luke & Andrew

The German countryside with two fine new 718's. Hard to beat that! Enjoy every moment - life is indeed short.

And thanks for the pics. Good to see that you're keeping the new Porsches clean and eating healthily too.

The question now becomes, how do you part with your new additions when it's time to come home? Did you inquire about the feasibility of riding home in the RoRo with them???
