Note that 718-4Me told us “… It's been over 4 years since I bought mine,“. That is a lot of time for policy changes. Anyway it encouraged me to be creative 😎

I missed that 4-year part! Kind of relevant to my conundrum.

I just saw Larry's post that they won't even allow "Turbo". That is beyond bizarre. (I'm going to take up embroidery - give me a few years to figure out how to do it...)

Meanwhile, your fix is good! Much like State censors intently scrutinizing personalized license plate submissions for hidden messages, I went through yours frontwards and backwards and everything in-between. Even checked for anagrams. Alas, I cannot find a reason to ban "Go Coastal" so you're free to go!

A few years ago I did European delivery of a Mercedes AMG - great experience !!!!
The delivery center in Stuttgart has a “store” where you can purchase accessories.
They also do embroidery while you wait. You can select font, size and color of thread. All for a reasonable price.

I had the floor mats personalized with my wife’s and my first names.

Those wheels look awesome! The pic of your car with the wheel in front definitely says black calipers. Classy look, for sure.
Thanks! That was my thought on it as well, I did keep them in an original Porsche finish anyway.

My seatbelts will tie in to the whole vision I have for it too.

I’m waiting on some consistently warm weather to put the decals on…black stone guards and a windshield banner.

Looks great! So apparently Lloyds is ok spelling out "Porsche" on their mats, just not using the actual logo?
As I stated in a previous post, that I also have the floor mats and at the time I'm pretty sure the Porsche logo was available in different colors. I have a black & rad thing going on with all 3 of my cars.

P_Coastal wrote: Fri Mar 03, 2023 8:17 pm A couple data points to consider:
- Lloyd Mats sells through Suncoast (Porsche Parts)
- They know you are ordering for a Porsche (fitment)
I get that and understand not using Porsche's actual logo. I even understand (to a degree) not using "Porsche", but refusing GTS makes no sense. GTS is not limited to Porsche. Ferarri has and continues to use "GTS" as well as Kia, BMW, Mercedes, Alpha Romeo even Dodge at some point and others.

I guess what you're suggesting is that maybe Lloyds has been asked not to use any of those terms and as a partner is complying. I kind of understand if that's the case but then how did 718-4Me get his with "Porsche" embroidered in red on all of his mats? And why on earth wouldn't Porsceh/Suncoast/Lloyds want to promote the Porsche brand if done correctly and within stipulated parameters? No matter the excuse they might give, it is a bit odd.
As I stated in a previous post, I bought all 3 of these mats about 5 years ago and at the time it was clearly offered by Lloyd's.

I just thought of one other mod that I've done, but not to my Porsche. I bought a front hood badge and mounted it on one of my jean jackets front pocket. People already know I'm weird so this just fits right in! And also the adornments to the floor and wall, always some other way to spend your money! You might think about using a hood badge and mount it to the rear floor mat???Image

@718-4Me Is the Porsche crest on your jacket fabric or an actual metallic hood badge? How is it attached? I’d love to find one in leather for my black Lloyd’s rear mat.

It's an actual metallic hood badge, got it from SunCoast as usual! It's has 2 prongs that are the attachment points on the back, with accompanying gourmets. I drilled 2 hole thru the jacket and attached the badge. This particular jean jacket has a lining, so thick material, worked very well! I just had a thought, there's a fellow in Germany, Justin Placek on Instagram, he makes custom seat cushion for Porsche's, beautiful work, he may be able to help you out with a Porsche logo in leather. Check him out you won't be disappointed, he also has some LWBS that I want and would also add his custom cushions. He also makes custom leather jackets, all the stuff that really touch my buttons!
