Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate what your doing for the community, unfortunately I don’t have the car as of yet delivery is due end of March, it’s shark blue exterior with black leather interior with chalk stitching

I see your doing the tach ring as well, It will be awesome if can get both the chrono and tach rings

What do you think? I was after gloss and got more of a satin finish, but I'm kind of feeling it! @JimB and @myjc

Wow, this paint turned out amazing! At least my eyes can't really tell much difference. Personally, I'd prefer this satin finish over a gloss finish.

Tom, your Bordeaux color match look spot on, and I'm also feeling it in regard to the matte finish, since it's a closer match to the leather finish. Great work!

I need to check with the paint shop to make sure that paint is durable as a final coat or, if not, get a compatible satin clear. This is supposed to be a single stage (no clear needed) paint, but its appearance makes me want to double check. It honestly looks perfect with the Bordeaux leather right out of the can, I just don't want to ship them out before confirming the paint is durable as is....

For the sake of simplicity, I hope the single stage paint proves to be durable enough w/ no need for the satin top coat. Fortunately, the installed bezels mostly should be out of harm's way.

I have not forgotten about the Bordeaux paint. I need to take the can back to the paint shop for them to confirm it can be used as a top coat (without a clear). But I'm 100% with you on that. If this requires a clear (which I don't actually think it does), I'll change to a different paint. This paint shop has thousands and thousands of paint color samples, literally, and we found one that was virtually identical to the sample leather. So, now that we have the code, they can mix that color in any paint system.

This just in for the Shark Blue crowd. I'll take it to a dealer this weekend to match it against actual Shark Blue, but posting to see if it's in the right ball park.....? This is the Rustoleum Sail Blue....

Wow.....that was quick work Tom. Baby pic appears to be an excellent match to the pics I took of a SB GT3 at my dealer. I have also attached the best pic I have been able to find of SB. As you know my car has not arrived yet so I can not compare to actual car. Let us know how it compares after you visit your dealer. Look forward to receiving together with the license plate mounts. Hawk, when you’re expecting to take delivery of your car? I’m assuming it’s a GTS model, mine is due end of March
