Thanks for the link to posting photos, Tim. I always get temporarily confused here, as a lot of sites just have that "browse" button and then you open the pic and post. I'm pretty much an idiot with some of the tech stuff...you need to "dumb it down" for me!

Same. Just worked to hard to have these cars. I genuinely love them and don’t want them eaten alive by salt etc if it can be avoided. Same with tracking them, just not my scene. But much respect for the guys who do. I do drive a lot in the season, a lot of “therapy drives”.

Same… I’ve resorted back to tracking the MR2. I call it disposable fun… I can buy a motor all day long for 1500

Agree with both of the above two sentiments as I wouldn't want cars as nice as yours and others I see here anywhere near a track or out in harsh salt winters. Hard laps can take their toll and salt just likes to eat. (Yikes to salt!)

In my case, the GT4 was specced for the track from when ordered and on-track is its favorite home. But year-round with the GT4 on streets and roads is also a blast in the off-season with proper tires/wheels.

Fortunately for me, year-round public road driving where I live is fine most of the time, obviously avoiding snow and ice conditions, so all the sports cars get their exercise on the nicer and warmer winter days that we will get on occasion. I just make sure to keep them clean.

I follow a number of UK guys on You Tube and am always quite stunned at the amount of corrosion they have on suspension parts, coolant pipes, even the engine case. You don't think of the UK as a particularly icy, snowy, salt-on-the-roads kind of place, but most of their cars have tons of corrosion. I guess they clearly must drive them when salt is on the roads, but I have to scratch my head wondering why they don't rinse the car thoroughly and frequently. I guess they must have a different mentality about this than we do here in the US.
