Hi Stew - Welcome to Carpokes from a Middle Tennessean and fellow track junkie! Thank you for finding us and joining up!

It's great to have more track-oriented members, so please check out the Carpokes Racing sub-forum where there's everything from track days and club/amateur racing to INDY, IMSA & F1 and beyond. Would love to have input from track experiences, video and pictures. There are several topics relating to those or start your own!

My name is Steve and I live in Western Maryland. I have been a car guy all my life. Started out with Mustangs in the late 70's and got into Porsches about 20 years ago when I had enough money to buy one with the intention of auto crossing and some track driving. Fast forward and I have been racing with PCA for about 12 years, I am a chief instructor with Potomac, and currently working on building a 77 911S vintage race car. The current fun cars in the stable are:

1970 Mustang Boss 302 grabber blue
1986 Mustang SVO black
1977 911S vintage racer project not sure what color yet
1992 968 Cabriolet Tahoe blue 1of 5
1994 968 Coupe Iris Blue
1989 944 TurboS racecar
1998 993 C2S black with Aerokit II

My son is also a car nut and is a 3 time 944Cup/PCA SP2 champion and is currently competing in SpecBoxster in the Carebearrera,

Its great to be here and hope I can both contribute and learn.
Welcome aboard! Great to have you on Carpokes! Would love to see/hear more about your impressive stable! And about the '77 project! Carmagic has been sharing his '71 build in the thread below, which may be of interest.

My name is Stew and I live in East Tennessee. I’ve been an avid track junkie starting in the early 2000’s, although I’m relatively new to Porsche ownership. A few months ago I traded my ‘20 GT4 in on a ‘22 GT3. I am blown away by Porsche’s engineering and look forward to many more days on track. I look forward to learning and contributing on this forum, and thanks for creating/maintaining it!
Welcome to Carpokes and thanks for joining and sharing. Love your car -- menacing but vibrant! Were the orange wheel/accents a factory option or did you have that added It's nicely done either way. :)

Thanks.
Computer monitors (and TVs) can be pretty inaccurate too, color-wise. Bright orange on one computer can look nearly red on another. Windows has a color calibrator in its system, but it can only do so much.

Greetings fellow car guys (and gals).

My name is Doug and I am from Western Kentucky. I blame/thank my dad for my car fascination. I grew up in the late 60’s and 70’s peering over the back seat of my dad’s juiced big block Galaxy 500 as he covertly looked for unsuspecting Camaros and Mopars.

I am working hard to be simi-retired.

Current fun cars:
2015 911 GTS MT Carmine Red
2016 Alpina B6
2003 BMW 330i MT ZHP Imola Red
1999 Saleen Cobra
1995 BMW M3 MT (14,000 miles original owner)

I’ve been enjoying the forum for some time (amazing machines and talent out there!).
A big thanks to those devoted souls who get/keep this going!

Hi Doug - welcome to Carpokes and thank you for joining this community of like-minded car people (fantatics). :D

Sounds like your Dad would have been fun to cruise around with!! You have a great lineup of cars too. Pics of all if you wish to post them. (The more the merrier. They don't all have to be Porsches either!)

Hi! My name is Jon B
I have a Racing Yellow 2018 Turbo S.
I have some user questions and would like to get a racing yellow bezel for my O, S, S+, I. My friend Tim suggested that I contact this website to purchase one.
