Well, I’m in luck…the pen the dealership gave me appears to be correct!

If it wasn’t for this thread, I too, would’ve never noticed the glove box clips. Thanks @Larry C !

Filled in the PORSCHE label below the nav screen that the factory seems to forget.

I used water based acrylic craft paint. I first practiced on the PORSCHE lettering on the owners manual cover before painting the letters below the nav screen. Use a small brush to fill in the recessed letters, let it dry for maybe 10 seconds, then gently wipe off with a moist paper towel and the flat part of your finger. Keep wiping with fresh paper towel section until all the surface paint is gone. It may take a couple of cycles to get it all filled in. Also, I taped off the areas around the letters and laid a clean drop cloth on the interior to prevent any spills- just in case. Pretty easy and fun little project. And you notice it every time you get in the cockpit. I don't know why the factory leaves it unpainted.

Very cool. Another touch of understated bling. I like that you can select a color to match your interior stitching, seatbelts, etc.. Thanks for posting.

I am fascinated by the impact that makes, I wonder does the door pop off easy enough to make the painting easier and less risky ?

I'm not aware the door can be removed. Based on the way it operates, I would guess not. I considered removing the head unit so the surface would be facing up but after practicing with the owners manual cover in the same position as the cockpit lettering, it worked just fine as is.

Thanks for all the complements on this. I'm glad it was successful. I wish I could say the same for trying to paint the PORSCHE lettering on the plastic battery cover in the front. That was a complete failure after several attempts and had to respray it to get the finish back. This is the kind of stuff I monkey with during the winter.

Added an additional red item to the interior today as I purchased a red Dial Mode Cover to my interior. Looks very cool and another pop of red always helps. Thx Tom...
