It's a GT3 winged. As of yesterday, I'm now one month behind you if it isn't further delayed.Acropora wrote: Sat Dec 18, 2021 5:41 am Hawk, when you’re expecting to take delivery of your car? I’m assuming it’s a GTS model, mine is due end of March

Well I struck out at the dealer today. No Shark Blue paint samples. Give me time and I'll find one though. In the meantime, it did give me a chance to check some other colors....
Carpokes silver might be a little lighter/brighter than GT Silver, but quite close!
The Gentian is predictably spot-on since it was mixed to code. The only lingering question is whether it's a durable top coat.
Chalk is a tough color because so much depends on the angle and lighting. I'd say the Carpokes color is more grey than the real chalk, but in the right light it can look pretty close. I may keep my eyes open for a slighter-still grey....
Just for fun I put the "Shark Blue" one on my car and have to say it adds a nice little splash to the dash!

Thank you Tom for taking the time to run around and verify the paint colour matching, that shark blue looks awesome on your car, since your interior is slate grey it’s little muted, I bet will stand out more against black trim

That's why I don't trust internet pictures! My interior is actually black! (Although Porsche black leather is not a deep black, but still.)

You got me second-guessing myself, but happy to say I just looked at the window sticker and it indeed says "leather in black"Acropora wrote: Sat Dec 18, 2021 6:23 pm Wow, from the picture looks slate grey, but I’m sure you know your car better so black it is

By the way, while at the dealer yesterday, I looked at the Taycan dash, and the sports chrono bezel sure looked a lot like the 992. Does anyone here have a Taycan and an interest in seeing if these 992 clip-on bezels fit as is?

Just confirmed that Bordeaux is not a top coat and won't last long at all without a clear. I have two add'l options to try, so hang in there...
That's unfortunate news about the necessity of a top coat. I'll definitely hang in there, all the while admiring your persistence...Tom wrote: Tue Dec 21, 2021 2:38 pm ust confirmed that Bordeaux is not a top coat and won't last long at all without a clear.
