I don’t know what the cost of production will be, but I think that would be an appropriate price considering the amount of time and effort going into making it

Wowza! $22000 makes me glad I found one used in 2003 for like $400 (I think they were selling new for $650 at the time). I rationalized the purchase by looking at the savings I achieve by DIY the belt change and tension rechecks. It would be a harder sell these days. Still interested in Tom’s modern version, though. Really wanting the digital display.

FWIW, Gaudin and Delaware both have an 18.1% discount to $1822.77. May still be a bit out of reach

I will definitely be a buyer of the digital version. I've become pretty proficient in timing belt tensioning using the "can you turn the water pump" method as well as the Carpokes 3D printed tool to double check, but this would be amazing for true timing belt peace of mind and getting the balance shaft belt tension spot on.

That is just insane pricing!! Although supply and demand determine the cost... so it does add up

@Tom We are all cheering you on!
Did you buy your own 4 axis CNC yet? That would make this a little quicker :D

Nice job ChatGPT. Not perfect ... but not terrible.
