Not a Porsche owner, but stumbled across the carpokes! YouTube channel when looking for a solution to flush mount rivnuts. Making a bracket for my RS3 that was missing and is seemingly unavailable short of ordering a new ($2000+) bumper that requires me to flush mount a m6 rivnut which there is a thread about here on the forum so this is my post for access to the STL files.

Well welcome aboard. This is primarily a Porsche site, but many of our 3D-print files can be used on other cars.mandoRS3 wrote: Sun Aug 13, 2023 8:03 pm Not a Porsche owner, but stumbled across the carpokes! Have just delved in to the world of 944 ownership here in the UK, have a 1990 S2 that's in need of some TLC so one of the jobs is to sort the cracked dash out, assuming the removal is just reversed for right hand drive cars?

I would assume so too, but can't speak from experience on that. Would love to hear back after you do it here if there are any right-hand drive surprises. On a 1990 model, you also probably have airbags to deal with....doughutson67 wrote: Tue Aug 15, 2023 1:05 am Have just delved in to the world of 944 ownership here in the UK, have a 1990 S2 that's in need of some TLC so one of the jobs is to sort the cracked dash out, assuming the removal is just reversed for right hand drive cars?
Welcome to Carpokes in the meantime!

Name: Ben Dowdell
Location: Houston, TX
Current fun cars: 1991 964 Carrera 2 coupe manual finished in guards red over cashmere beige
Occupation: Data Scientist, Geophysicist
First Porsche: The same as my current, the 1991 964 Carrera 2, bought in July 2014
Was hooked on Porsche's when: as a little kid, I had a battery-operated 930 (or maybe a 3.2 with a whale tail?) I drove up and down the driveway (pictured below along with the day I bought my 964)
I'm also on Rennlist as sooner964

I think a lot of us are driving our childhood dream cars, but those pictures take it to a whole new level and are just awesome! Feel good post of the year.guardsred964 wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 7:52 pm Name: Ben Dowdell

(Intercooler-accomodating whale tail, and no antenna on the fender, suggest a mid-late-80's turbo.)

Welcome Ben from a Nebraska Cornhusker to an Oklahoma Sooner --- just a guess from your moniker at Rennlist. This is a bit more mellow here and folks are super friendly. By the way my transport ship Siem Cicero just docked last night, so would you go down to where it is moored and see how my 24 Cayman GTS is doing, ha? Heh, we are friends , right?

Thanks, Willy! You assume correctly, and I really miss the OU-Nebraska rivalry games as they were always a classic. I was glad we got to play it last year. That is exciting news about your 24 Cayman GTS! I'll have to see if they let me anywhere near it! Hope you have it soon, and yes, we are friends!WillyDaP wrote: Fri Aug 18, 2023 4:35 am Welcome Ben from a Nebraska Cornhusker to an Oklahoma Sooner --- just a guess from your moniker at Rennlist. Hi Ben - add me to the "Welcome to Carpokes" list. I'll also second Tom's accolades regarding the pics on your post! Thank you for sharing those with everyone - quite special.guardsred964 wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 7:52 pm Name: Ben Dowdell
