PTS and Special Colors

I waffled endlessly on the color of my 992 Turbo S and ultimately went with Carrera White with a red stripe. Allocations were not plentiful when I ordered, so I gave up on PTS when the slot opened up. Next time, I plan to wait it out, though I have to say I'm still don't know what I'd pick for a 911 (or 718 Spyder??). I'd do Tangerine (Blood Orange) in a heartbeat if they'd "approve" it, but apparently they won't. Always wondered if there really are 'feasibility' issues with that color or if they just want to push Lava? Speed Yellow and Amethyst are high on my list too, though I'd love to see an Amethyst in person as it tends to vary a lot in the online photos I've seen. Anyway, if you have an interesting-color, please post for inspiration.
I've ordered my incoming C4S in PTS Oak Green.
Oak has been a favorite color of mine for years and I consider myself very lucky to have been able to get a built slot to accommodate a PTS color.
I can't wait to share real photos when it arrives, but here is a rendering of the build. I recognize that this isn't the most accurate depiction of oak green, but it is close-ish.

Can't wait to see the new car! We need more 992 owners here! Hopefully, once we get the new 992 license plates out there, it will help draw them in.
Did you do anything special to get a PTS slot? If I order again, it will be my third Turbo from the same dealer, so hoping they might throw me a bone. When I ordered the 992 Turbo, it was hard enough to get a regular allocation, and they basically said no way on PTS without waiting forever, so maybe it's easier after a car has been out a while?
We're going to the 000 Rare Shades 5 next weekend, so hopefully can post up pictures of some interesting colors. I say hopefully, because it's at Skywalker Ranch (Lucas/Star Wars, etc.) and they make you sign an NDA to get in, which includes a prohibition on taking pictures. Hopefully, they make an exception for a car show!

My father and I have bought 12 cars before this from this dealership (or their associated Audi or Land Rover stores) over the last 25 years, so we have a good relationship with them.
When they received an allocation for a 992 C4S build for me they spoke with their Porsche Exclusive rep and were able to move my allocation into a PTS slot at a later date. My original allocation was supposed to be an August '21 build and it was shifted back to November '21 to make it a PTS. It was worth the delay for me. I can't wait to see it in person!
Enjoy rare shades! It should be a great event. I hope that you get some good photos. A good friend of mine is likely to be there with his Olive Green GT3 touring. Perhaps they will have the next one on the east coast somewhere that I can attend!

12 cars! Oh jeez, I've got a ways to go.... 
I have a PTS Grigio Telesto GT3 incoming. Lamborghini color with a slight gold metallic flake to it, very dynamic and hard to capture in photos.
