What did you do to make your 718 unique?

Selfishly, I might want to steal your idea and do it to my incoming 2023 BGTS 4.0.

I'll probably order the auto top down module (think standard feature in Europe).
I have a fun 'fire missiles' or an 'eject' button in the center console cigarette lighter.
I got the burmester... yes yes, super mixed opinions here, I had the bose on a 2018 BGTS, hated it, did custom, annoyed i had holes in the car so glad i'm just doing best OEM option (and i heard it live before and was really impressed)
did stitching everywhere.. and leather everywhere, even the silly climate panel

What after market fun things can I do to just make little bit even more special but still be mega OEM look/feel?

Thanks!

My new Cayman's not here for another 2 or 3 weeks but I have all this ready for it:

-Musicar Stage 1 & 2 upgrade on the base soundsystem
-Clear side markers
-Short shift kit
-My custom little rear window decals for all the great twisty roads I've been to (Tail of the Dragon, Beartooth Highway, Coronado Trail, Icefields Parkway, etc etc)
-Dummy key replacement in guards red from alibaba
-RGS front grilles
-Ultimate Cupholders x2
-Inside doorhandle storage pockets from amazon (super useful IMO)
-Aluminum-look Porsche fuelcap (much cheaper on ebay than optioning it)
-Sto-n-sho front license plate bracket (far better solution than drilling holes or using the tow hook)

Not sure if I'll do the upgraded side window wind deflectors again, didn't really notice any difference last time I installed them

Went with RGS just because they're cheap while still looking good & doing their job of saving me money on potential punctures. Easy to install too

The doorhandle storage pockets are "Xotic Tech", search that + 718 and they'll come up. I badly needed a place to put a wallet/phone/passport temporarily and it's perfect for that

The highly configurable nature of Porsches leads to unique cars from the start.
Mine will be a highly optioned 2.0 L, which is less common than maximizing the engine.
Working on my accessories list.
Lid Liner ordered.

Beautiful, that makes me thrilled to see how awesome that is. VERY similar to my build. here is the code. PPJIJ1D5. I also did leather trim, full leather, chalk stitching everywhere and got leather even on the silly areas like climate panel, door sills, seat backs and airbag/door trim, dash, steering column.... (yep, i got porsche'd). I'm hoping to get a key like the one you got! Where did you find it? That is super classy and the dial cover too would be a great upgrade. The little things... for sure! Thanks for this!

Lid liner... is that the thing under the hood so you don't mess the hood up when you close it?

You're brave to get the bordeaux, I love it, just could not pull the trigger ha.

The dial mode cover is from Carpokes. Check out the drive mode dial thread. The leather key fob is from Exclusive Option - it’s not on their website but they will cover any bit of plastic in OEM leather.

A few items that I think are a good idea, not necessarily unique…for comfort and protection, both trunk liners and the lid liner. A decent sunshade for the windshield if you leave it parked with the top up, it’s like a greenhouse in the sun.

As for unique…
I have my seatbelts off to be rewebbed right now and I’m shipping my calipers tomorrow for refinishing (the paint on the fronts were ruined in a short 7k mi by the previous owner). My new wheels arrived last week from a group buy I’ve been waiting on. I have a few decals I’ll be installing once it warms up closer to Spring. Going for a bit of a factory throwback look but yet modern…I think.
I picked up some fantastic leather floor mats last year.
Plenty of little things you can do to make it your own.
