the wait continues...

Frustrated about the endless wait on my car's arrival. It arrived at Emden Port on 12/23. As of now, it has been delayed 3 times on its shipping dates (12/30 boat, then 1/13 boat, then 1/27 boat) The latest planned ship date from Germany is now 2/10...Is this normal to your experiences? Any one on the same boat (pun intended) as I am?
Also, Just browsing around for a key fob leather pouch while the waiting continues, can you tell me if this is the right key for MY '23 GTS?

Thanks Audi4t. Almost bought the wrong leather pouch. Beautiful color BTW (both car and key)

Agree with audi4t that you'll be getting the newer (and much better) style key. The newer style looks better, the attach loop is sturdier and smoother (no square end sticking out), and more importantly, the removable inner emergency/glove box key is on the opposite end which makes its removal much easier. If you have a key ring on the old style, getting the key out is next to impossible without first removing the ring.
'21 GT4 key on the left and '22 Turbo S on the right. Interestingly, the '19 Cayenne Turbo also has the preferred newer style key.

Unfortunately, delays and reschedulings are part of the ordering experience. It's done to heighten your anticipation. Or to give you a headache.

My car got on a boat relatively quickly but has been stuck in "port processing" in Benicia for 3 weeks now and they've pushed the estimate back twice - 1/13 to 2/10 to 2/24. Dealer has no information about why it's being held other than something mechanical rather than bodywork. Thinking it'll be much better for my sanity to quit looking at TYD altogether

Sadly, normal these days at EMDEN. mine arrived at port 12/19, shipped 1/14. Hang in there!

I believe @xcursion is waiting for a Cayman. 2023 718s appear to still get the old key.

Interesting, but now that you mention it, I think you're correct. It makes sense too.
My GT4 key (all Caymans?) is a sort of regular old-style key fob in that you have to actually stick it in the ignition slot. The emergency key and any ring holder would need to be on the opposite end from what goes into the slot, at least based on how the ignition interface is currently designed. I didn't even think about that aspect until your post.
