Anyone want a leather-covered 944 dash? It's never been installed after it was done by Classic 9 maybe 6 or 7 years ago. I bought it from someone who had it done and then had to sell the car. I had planned to install it, but ended up having my original dash recovered locally in the colors I really wanted. I harvested the defrost strip for my dash, so that is missing from this one, but Classic 9 still lists them for sale. See link. Shipping would likely cost a fortune, so would love to find someone in the SF Bay Area who could pick it up.
I'm thinking $750, which I think is a bargain, but seeing it go to good use in a deserving car more than anything.

Still looking for find a good home for this. Had it out for more pictures today -- it really is a pretty dash. I did notice an indented area on top of the dash where something was pressing against it. Didn't notice that before so it could be temporary bed-head. Otherwise I suspect a good leather guy could smooth it out with a little heat. The leather is perfect and the whole thing just deserves to be in someone's car.

It is what i've always called linen, but not 100% sure that was the official name. It matches the common tan/sand colored interior you see in half the 944 turbos, whatever its official name.

Any idea if this would work in a 968? I could look in PET, I suppose, but that would be a little less engaging...
Cheers

I believe it would bolt in, but this has no airbag if that's something you'd like to preserve.... (also the glove box latch is slightly different if that matters to you).
