As previously promised, we separated the water-cooled 911 forums into 992/991 and 997/996. This is the new 997/996 forum!
We need a good front page picture for this forum, so please post pics of your car that might work well as the face of the forum!

Nice choice for the temp pic for the new 997/996 forum! Reminds me of "Your Business Here" billboards.

Great looking car in a scenic setting to boot! It's a classy and clean build, plus the car appears to be immaculate. It looks brand new!
By the way, welcome to Carpokes - browse around and post away if you care to. Pictures, input, sharing of ideas and camaraderie are what the site is all about. And thanks for posting the pic - I'm sure Tom will take note!

I came within inches of buying a car that looked exactly like that! The PPI revealed some serious driveline issues so I ended up passing and buying a new 991 instead. But your car is a serious beauty. I'm a sucker for guards red, and turbos (and Racedeck)... Have you made power mods?

Who says it’s a 996 OR 991 thing? Get both!
(Sorry for the clutter - it’s a happy working garage, not a model home!)
Oh, both cars are fully stock, zero mods, great shape. The 996 has about 90k miles, the 991 about 40k.

I got my first Porsche (1971 914) in 1982. 13 cars later I’m a still a total fanatic. I have the pictured ‘03 Turbo Aerokit and a ‘81 911sc Euro targa wide body. Glad to join this group!
