I came across a 944 Turbo for a really good price right in my city and its one of my few dream cars, even the red color I wanted, so I had to get it even though I had no plans for a new car.

Its my first true project car so I am taking it slowly and learning about the timing belts while fixing basic items like hood struts and interior stuff. There was also water damage to the passenger side from a rusted battery tray so in parallel I am trying to weld in a new battery box. I have worked on other stuff so at least I'm not starting from zero. I really like the DIY spirit of this forum since I can never afford to buy OEM branded tools. Hope to learn and contribute back something.

Awesome, welcome aboard. Post some pics of the car! You've come to the right place. :)
