Euro fog lights

Can anyone tell me what that hole is used for am I. Missing something want to install euro fog lights on 944

It's a running light, that comes on in the 'parking light' mode

Is there a bulb part number is it clear or yellow.

Regular bulb, not colored, and what type I forget. It's referenced in the PET though.

It should also be mentioned that the additional Euro-spec lights are not intended as "fog lights"----they are "driving lights" for additional illumination while driving on country roads and should be aimed and used as such. As in, do not turn them on unless you are on a lonely road and by yourself!

I often use the US-spec "fog lights" of my 951 and 944S2 cab as daytime running lights to improve visibility to other drivers, and also have them switched on with the headlights most of the time as I live near the ocean and quite often it is foggy.

They're just H3 projectors, you can aim them as such for supplemental lighting. They're not going to blind people any more than they blind us with their not-aimed-at-all modern headlights.
