The new rare first edition black color P2S fan from Porsche Exclusive Group for the 2022 model year. The color fan and presentation box featuring 170 classic Porsche special colors are brand new and in excellent condition.

These paint fans are a must have for any serious Porsche collector as a reference to Porsche's historic colors. This first edition color fan provides full visibility to each color that enables a direct comparison between the different light and dark historic Porsche colors.

In the first edition color fan box each of the 170 pages is a full color page example of the special color. If you have seen pictures of yellow edition paint box (model year 2023) you may recall that each of the color samples are surrounded by a white border and color name. Porsche collectors have agreed that the first edition color sample black box is the preferred version to have in their collection.

Pretty cool stuff!

For me the color chips in the big PTS hardcases that dealers have give a better representation of what the colors actually look like painted (ie: metallics) but the fan is still a great place to start and is quite nice in its own right. They look good all spread out too.

I imagine the color fans will be collectible as you said. I was fortunate enough to get a brand new unused set like yours last week.

Were you able to get a black box version or the yellow box.version?

I think that paint box is super expensive and rare.

Seems I can spend quite a lot of time looking at the colors when sitting in a well lighted area.


Hopefully the next generation paint box will go back to the full page of color style.
