944 Sport Seats - opinions wanted

Hi all, I have an '86 944 Turbo that has the parchment leather interior with sport seats.

My other 944 has the regular seats and I prefer the regular seats over the sport seats.

Would anyone with regular seats ever consider a trade for sport seats? Or do people not do that sort of trade?

Mine are in pretty decent condition with a little bit of wear on the driver's side bolster, but no tears in the leather.

I can get some pics out here if anyone has interest.

Wondering what other peoples' opinions on this are?

Post some pictures. Sports seats are worth more than non-sport seats, so I imagine there are plenty of people willing to trade.

I would happily trade you.

The fact is, sports seats are worth a small fortune and standard seats aren’t worth much. I agree with you though,had a set of factory sport seats in mine for a long time and never liked them. I put the standards back and haven’t regretted it for a minute. I sold my sport seats for quite a lot of money though, you are welcome to pm me and I will fill you in the details. Sports seats are worth 4 to 5 times more than standards.

The only thing I miss about them is the look. They look incredible.

My hesitation with selling them is that I may not be able to find regular ones in the same color/condition... and then I have a car with no seats in it. LOL

Those are like 2.5-3k seats lol, you won't have any issues finding someone willing to trade you . They did make standard seats with 8 way power and heat that are pretty rare if you were looking for a more even trade. They also look like they might be all leather and not vinyl on the sides.

I don't have any seats in that color to trade, or I would in a heartbeat; those things are sooooooo pretty.

Mine are the same color and are probably nicer. I will say, I would feel bad because those are much much more valuable.
