Engine / Suspension upgrades on a 987.1 2006 Boxster base 2.7 L

So I just sat in a 2022 GT 3 RS at the Naples Fl. Porsche store at a PCA breakfast there.
It's everything I want in my Boxster, for only $245 K!
Yikes!
What it did do is make me want to continue with the engine and suspension upgrades on my little 2.7 base.
I bolted on about 25 to 35 HP at 104 K, installed Elephant racing coil overs and new rear OEM GT3 bar with new downlinks.
The car can play with anything on the highway, even McLarens!
Except it's not as powerful.
My little toy is near showroom condition and I'm not getting rid of it!
It doesn't make sense to pay up inflated prices on a newer model to get less or not much more.
The trouble is, I want more HP and even stiffer handling.
I've been trying to find an engine rebuilder that will work on a 2.7.
Flat 6 won't.
I like what I read about Harcourt. Their guy in Oklahoma City did a rebuild and increase on a 2.7 to a 3.7L. Can't get an answer out of him, yet
I will not change the motor and devalue the car. The engine doesn't need a thing. But it does have 118k of wear on it.
The suspension and handling is like a GT 3 .
My wife won't ride in the car anymore...don't ask!
I've been doing my due diligence and investigating doing the front end, replacing 16 year old bushings, and doing other things to make the steering tightener than it is now.
I am convinced that keeping up with the maintenance and replacing worn parts with upgrades is cheaper and gives me what I want out of my Porsche without upgrading to a new overpriced vehicle.
'Cause honestly, I don't have $245K.
Anybody care to comment or give suggestions?
