It is an issue and when I was selling vehicles I would ask folks if they planned on tracking their car. If so I told them is was critical to consider doing Xpel, 3M, Step, or other PPF to keep the rock chips from peppering the paint. It is not necessary to do the entire car, but so much has to be done that many opt for that. Good luck and though of little help to you , this post may help some others take the step to preserve their paint, etc.

Were the headlights sanded down and sprayed with a clear coat?
Looks great now, nice transformation.

Just FYI, my local/best Porsche Certified body shop told me to wait a minimum of 30 days before putting PPf on new paint, and they prefer 45-60....
