I just joined this Forum couple weeks ago.
Last week my beloved Taycan was involved in an Car Accident.... Some grandpa run through a red traffic light......

Maybe it's interesting for you guys how much the repair cost would be.
The car doesn't looked that bad on the Photo and at first sight....

But the cost for repair would be around 110k estimated by a Porsche automotive expert.

So sorry for you. Hopefully, and most importantly, everyone is ok. While the repair cost seems high, I'm sure it will be worked out between your insurance carrier and the insurance carrier of the individual who ran the red light. Repair estimates are often inflated knowing that the insurance carrier of the at fault individual will do their own repair estimate and negotiate the cost down. The good news is that it can be repaired and I'm sure brought back to like new condition. Did you call the police and file an accident report at the scene?

I'm soooo sorry to see that and sure hope everyone walked away unhurt! I feel your pain looking at those pictures.

If that's 110k Euros (and if that estimate proves accurate) then that must be close to or over the value of the car, isn't it? The car doesn't 'look' totaled, but modern cars are not cheap to fix, and even more so when fixing to Porsche OEM standards, so I guess possible. Please keep us posted.

p.s., not much consolation I know, but whatever you end up doing to repair or replace this car, I'll have a bezel waiting for in any color you want

Wow! that is a high estimate! Wouldn't they just total it? Hopefully, you have a repair shop that knows electric vehicles.

Hey guys I'am back. Thank god nobody was badly hurt by the accident. Everybody is fine! Thank you guys

Just got a new Taycan on order. Order was confirmed last week and I will get a brand new Taycan with my own configuration in One month


The repair Cost were roughly around 102.000,00 €
The car value was estimated at 83.000,00€ and was sold for 86.000,00 at an auction.

And here is my new Configuration.
This time without Pano Roof. Didn't notice it so much as a driver in my last Taycan. Saved some bugs for the Exterior

Happy to hear you were able to get it replaced. I wouldn’t want that repaired Taycan.
