Recently experienced steering wheel shake at 70+ mph or on rough roads at lower speed. Am rechecking alignment and wheel balancing, but what would be the next things on the list to look at? I guessing wheel bearing….but…. I have 2000 911 carrera.

Wheel bearings or struts/springs come to mind. If alignment and wheel balancing doesn't help, I'd want to get it on a lift and start pulling and prying on suspension parts to see what's failed.... Worth checking the brakes too, especially if worse when braking.

You nailed it. Right side strut/spring shot. Replacing both of course, plus sway bar, etc. Not surprised after 25 years on chassis!
