Not much snow here in Georgia so year round is not a problem.

When i lived in Connecticut over the years I would drive all my cars year round with the addition of snow tires.

Audi TT's (3)
BMW Z4's (3)
BMW 135i (1)
BMW 325i (1)

Plus a bunch of SUV's

Even rear wheel drive with snow tires is fun

All wheel drive with snow tires is a blast

I drive my cars year round and have never bought snow tires. If it snows here, everyone stays home. The health care people just stay at work (my wife is a doc).

When any snow does hit us, the DOT salts the roads which I'd rather avoid.

In spite of the harsh winters by the shore here in Southern California I not only drive my Porsche year round, I also ride my motorcycles year round!

Year round here in FL. LOVE seeing pics of 911s with racks. I’ve got a similar setup for my 991.

I daily all my cars in the winter as well. I've had a GT3, R8, and GTS on winter tires in Chicago every year. Handles the snow with ease and it's fun!

My 1979 SC-L was also a year-round car here in Colorado. My 996 is a great car for weekly trips to the slopes, even without PSAM. And the heat works WAY better than in the ‘79! Snow tires on a C2 will still beat all seasons on an Audi Quattro.

That is awesome to use a Porsche which was how its was built.

I don't remember snow here in the deep south. I like the 2020 Porsche 911 over next to a lake that has never frozen:

992 CS currently, snow tire swap in November and keep driving year round. Snow isn't a problem but ground clearance can be the issue. I also drove mt 991 and 997 year round.
