Saw the ad in Panorama for the Exclusive Motorworks, Automods Skid Plate to protect the underside of the front bumper.
Has anyone gotten this or know if it's worth it? Also see that it is held on by 3M VHB tape, which I know nothing about. Would that not also damage the paint?
Thank-you.
Anyone use the Automods Skid Plate?

3M makes oodles of VHB tapes, so I can't say for sure without knowing which one they use. However, I can tell you that 3M does make VHB tape designed for automobiles. I use one for our Carpokes license plate mounts and it is 100% safe on factory paint. I'd wouldn't be surprised if they use the same tape...Senior Macan Owner wrote: Mon Oct 06, 2025 12:45 pm Saw the ad in Panorama for the Exclusive Motorworks, Automods Skid Plate to protect the underside of the front bumper.
