I'm somewhat puzzled. Doesn't the Taycan have the capability to process over-the-air updates? I set up MY Porsche app to automatically push over-the-air- updates to my Cayenne GTS. Works seamlessly.

Basic updates such as map updates are pushed over the air. The big software updates that affect the mechanical systems of the car require the dealership to connect to the mothership in Germany to download. Some of the updates take 8-9 hours to download and install. To be honest, I would rather have the dealer do those so when things like the PCM bricks (which happened quite often in the past) are the dealer's fault and they have the responsibility to replace it.
My SA basically said this update basically updates every single component in the car. The car will actually revert to a factory fresh style driving experience as a result, it will have to relearn your driving habits etc for calculating estimated range and suchmrbeaubo wrote: Sat Mar 12, 2022 8:39 am Has anyone been able to find what exactly it updates? I've seen SOME info floating around but nothing definitive
