For those of you with QuickJack portable car lifts, I recently had to rebuild the cylinders on my jacks due to leaky seals causing them to not lower the car evenly (a harrowing experience if you’ve never been there!).
There are a few places on the web that talk about how to rebuild the cylinders, but none with comprehensive instructions. So I took pictures along the way and wrote up my take on the process. Also included is information on where to source all the necessary parts.
