When I was stuck in downtown SF traffic, a policeman with eyes laser-focused on my vehicle proceeded to walk in my direction. For a brief moment, the thought of having to pull over for a fix-it ticket regarding the absence of a front license plate entered my mind. My concern quickly dissipated when his only intent was to give a thumbs-up gesture regarding the Taycan.

It's strange because I know the car has been out for couple years..I just got mine this year... and still everyone thinks it's the latest thing.. most don't even know it's electric.

Same here, most that come up and ask about the Taycan have the preconceived notion it's an ICE sports sedan. More often than not, the initial question asked is "Is it a V-8 or V-6 Turbo?"

It's great to hear about all the attention everyone is getting with their Taycan. We have a Mamba Green GTS on order and scheduled to arrive at the dealer in early October. It's great to see all the posts and meet people with the same passion we have for all the great cars Porsche has made over the years.

We’ll definitely post some pictures when she arrives. It was the First Porsche order I’ve Built and our first Porsche Factory order. We let our 2009 997 911 Carrera go to a new home after 10 Years. The car was the best trouble free car and the Macadamia with Brown Leather interior, PDK.
