I’ve installed zunsport grilles to protect the very exposed radiators particularly the central one on the GTS. Have most other done the same or are you running without?

I also installed the grills as soon as I got my car home. They paid for themselves on the way to Barber Motorsports Park a couple weeks ago. I arrived and noticed that my center grill was knocked loose. Upon further inspection, a AA battery had knocked the grill out. The radiator was fine thankfully!!

Just to reinforce what others have said, I installed Zunsport grills as soon as I returned from PEC Atlanta, best mod I've made from a protection standpoint. Probably also best bang for the buck.

That's great, I hope your good fortune holds. Many people don't buy life insurance and live into their 90's, it's all about your risk tolerance.

My previous 981 GTS went several months before I could get the grills, and the amount of debris in the cavity was alarming. Just keeping leaves, twigs, bugs, etc out is worth it to me, but the ability to stop a rock or errant bolt from penetrating a radiator is paramount to me.

There's a crazy geezer in one of the Cayman Facebook groups who loves to lecture people about how his grill-less GTS is the reason why he beats a grilled GT4 around a track. He has a massive amount of hate for radiator grill screens as if a set stole his wife from him or something.

Install the screens just to piss that guy off if nothing else. LOL!
