Always sad to see a fallen tree but, thankfully, no damage

Yeah, that was just one of many branches, so the tree lives on. We had it trimmed when we got the house to remove limbs over the garage, but now I see that some are creeping back over the corner of the garage (and shed) so this may be mother nature's way of reminding me to call a tree guy. Super lucky it didn't fall on anything but the driveway....

At least the tree didn't hit your house like this one did to a friends house !!!!!

Oof. That's a mess to clean up, but is certainly better than what I had envisioned with the thread title.
I'm glad everyone and everything is unharmed!

Yes, crazy lucky. Equally unbelievable, our gardener came for his regular weekly visit yesterday and went to town on that limb. He cut the main branch into two foot lengths and then essentially shredded the rest with his chain saw. He was able to get nearly half of it into our 3 organics bins, and thinks he can get the rest in next week. I bet he saved my at least $3 or $400 dollars.
