Carrara advice please. 85 Euro cab, 75K mi, perfect original paint G-red/tan (except rear deck). Very nice unit. However, interior is tired, with a couple cigarette holes in seat; dash has some sun warping. All original (except stereo), numbers matching Owned since '05. No plans to sell, but may want to invest some $ to make it better. What is the best way to really upgrade the car? Thank you!

Hi and welcome to Carpokes! I'm going to move this to the air-cooled board just so it gets attention from the right group. Maybe post some pictures of your car, but based on your description it sounds like maybe it's time for a new interior. With a 75k g-body, you can justify spending a bit to get the interior looking new. I can't say the same about my 944 necessarily, but recently redid the whole interior and must say it completely transforms the driving experience. I feel like I'm sliding into 1986 whenever I get in that car, new-car smell and all. :)

p.s., does your car ping at all? I cared for a Euro '83 911SC for a while and its compression was just too high for US gasoline. We tried a number of things, but it ended up pulling a head stud. :(
