I have had numerous Porches over the years, and the current passion is my 718 Cayman GTS.

I live in the beautiful N GA Mountains and am blessed with some great driving roads.

Hi Terry! Welcome to Carpokes and thanks for joining! There are lots of great people on the site to converse with and with whom to share info. Explore away.

The site's founder Tom has some fantastic add-ons, printed tools and more for Porsche's such as his 718 license plate mounts which were a must for me and many others.

As for your passion for 718's, I could not agree more. There are a lot of hardcore 718 fans here so jump right in!

I'm in the Nashville, TN area so not far away from you. I've been through your part of GA many times!

PS - beautiful Cayman!!!

Hi folks.

Dion Dunn from Louisville, Ky

VP of a large Management Consulting firm. Along with Porsches, my passions are with bicycles and racing sailboats. Also used to race SCCA FV.

Porsche of the past include 914 2.0, 914-6 2.0, 914-6 3.2, 944S, 912, and my current daily driver a 2002 986S.

Why Porsches? 30 years ago I was searching for an MG to restore and came across a 914. The rest as they say is history…..

Name: Paul Lefcourt

Location: San Clemente, CA

Current fun cars: '89 911 Carrera Cabriolet, Baltic Blue - stock - have owned 5 years. 2018 Audi RS3 (daily driver) modified to 500 hp - Nardo Gray

Occupation: Insurance brokerage executive

When I graduated college in the late 80's the 911 Cabriolet was the "hot" car. I promised myself that when I "made" it I would buy one. My current Porshce was a 50th bday present to myself and took a year to find. She is my weekend car and can be found at the San Clemente Cars and Coffee a couple weekends a month with the rest of the Porshe Pirates.

I am not very mechancial but seem to be learning more and more about taking care of my Porsche's every day and excited to join this site.

Welcome aboard Paul. So glad you found us! My first Porsche was an 85 3.2 coupe in Prussian Blue, which I found in Fresno after a similar search. What a great car that was, and I'm still kicking myself for selling it for $20,000!  Would love to see more of yours!

Hi Paul,
Welcome to Carpokes. If you have more photos, please post them. My last car was also a Nardo Grey RS3. It had an APR ECU and TCU tune. That car was fast as hell!

Im just getting acquainted with the site, so figured I’d check in and introduce myself.

I live in Louisville, Ky and have been a member of the KY PCA for about 5 years. I have always LOVED Porsche vehicles but only got my first P car in 2014 (2014 Boxster S). Since then, I’ve come to understand the expression “The perfect number of Porsche’s to own is always N+1). I have now accumulated a garage full as my capacity to work on them myself has increased. I now have four: 1988 924S, 1988 944, 2017 Macan S, and the original 2014 Boxster S

I am still holding the “+1” for a 1987-1989 930 Turbo but will wait til the prices come back below a new GT3RS - grin.

I race with the PCA SimRacing crew online and occasionally get out to the tracks at Putnam and Mid-Ohio tracks.

Howdy Crew!
