Mr WillyDaP Bill, I suspect you're going to be impressed with the heft and the quality of the pedals. And they will feel so good underfoot!

(Note how I am referring to them as though you've already made the purchase and have also already drafted your son for the installation... )

Attended another trackday yesterday, it was at a track called Podium Club At Attesa, the track day was put on by PCA. I had been to this track once before however yesterday we ran the track CCW instead of CW. Funny how running the same track a different direction makes it feel like a new track in many ways.

I was promoted from DE-2 to DE-3, that felt good. Still lots to learn but sure am having fun doing it. I attempted to use my Sports Crono to time my laps but I don't know how to get it to recognize the start/finish line.

Though I desire to do many projects/mods to my Cayman I have started a garage remodel project that will be taking up my spare time for the next little while. On the list is a slight lower of the car, 1/2 inch or so. I am considering the upcoming GT Spring kit from TPC racing as well as simply trimming my stock springs. I am not considering any progressive wound spring. I want to continue down the Aero path with the GT4 rear difuser and undertray. Those Numeric pedals look great, they are on the short list as well.

What are you all using for a track side tire inflator? After a day at the track I have to air back up for the drive home and have been using a 12V cigarette plug inflator from my R32. It always struggles to do the job and gets super hot.

Normally a big nitrogen bottle, lol. However, if not that, then a Milwaukee M18 Inflator, quickest I’ve found. Bonus, uses same batteries as my Milwaukee 1/2”, 1000 ft/lbs impact. Awesome lug nut tool, high torque for removal, low for installation

I've been using a Ryobi model for the past year to refill tires at the track and it looks quite similar to the DeWalt. Wouldn't surprise me if the Ryobi model was sourced from DeWalt. Amazingly, the pressure gauge reads identically to my Longacre digital gauge, which saves time. Would have gone DeWalt, but already had Ryobi batteries....very happy with this model.

Home Depot has them on sale right now for $50.

Thanks for the inflator suggestions guys. I have other Dewalt products and a bunch of batteries so that one Tim linked is on my short list. They had a great sale on them the last two weeks of November at ACE hardware, $100. Wish I jumped on it.

Other guys are using the drill form factor style tools and all seem happy with them, so much more compact than the Dewalt. Yes that Milwaukee M18 Inflator is the king of the hill for speed however I don't have any other products that share the same battery and it is bulky.

Lastly there are other off brands that are designed to use Dewalt batteries with unknown performance that don't look too bad.

BTW, another safety mod is the Frunk lid liner. It looks OEM and is a 30 second install.

Received and installed on the GT4. Thanks Larry!

It does look good Jeremy. Pretty simple design but one that might prove beneficial at some point.

I wondered what one of those trunk liners would look like. I have used an old army blanket to cover stuff in the front trunk since my first Boxster. Such a cheap ass....
